Has anybody looked at the lots offered in the Houston sale? It's a copper lovers dream !!! I am now doing the financial scramble to see what I can cook up. There are some nice primos and some doggys in primo holders...be careful folks
It was not listed last time I looked. Searching it now and have already put a couple of large cents on watch.
I am pretty sure what you are talking about is Jack Lee's #1 all time collection from his estate. I almost sent you the notice from Heritage, but I thought sure you would see it. I guess I was wrong.
Rlm, I am very aware this is the Jack Lee collection. What most are not aware of, is this was slabbed post-mortem, in order to gain status......I still consider the Blay collection tops. Marketing 101, make your item shine There is however a top a$$ selection of wheats, there are 3, THREE (MS-67 ) 1917 wheat cents, type collectors galore, the best date in the series The 24-d's are doggy, there are a cpl poor examples masquerding as primos, and we will be treated to a 1926-S 65RD.... Hold on to your hats. I have a "viewer consultant" for this show, I cannot make it personally
They both kinda are in SLIGHTLY different categories. Jack Lee is #1 "Lincoln Cents Basic Set, Circulation Strikes (1909-Present)" and Blay is "Lincoln Cents Basic Set, Circulation Strikes (1909-1958)"
