Do I have anything to worry about with this coin? The hologram is missing on the back of the slab and there are signs of *possible* separation of the slab on the obverse (top left corner). Thoughts?

If this is indeed a NGC slab, the serial number is traceable.

Cert. No. checks out, but no pictures. Worried that the coin may have been switched out. How often do holograms get pulled off slabs?

Many a hologram has been removed/damaged by the unfortunate placement of labels/stickers (among other reasons), but you could also check the CAC cert or even try to locate the cert number in auction archives if you're that concerned; I wouldn't worry about it though.

Almost all earlier NGC slabs I have purchased via auctions ( Goldberg, Heritage, etc) have hologram damage due to their Lot stickers. That is a common problem.

I would not worry at all about this coin.

Do not fret. this is very common on older NGC slabs. you still got the CAC hologram!

dumb dealers often stick their stickers over the holograms, and destroy them
