I just saw this (on yahoo news, of all places). It's supposed to have set a new world record, selling for $508,000!!
Last month the Perth Mint had a 200 year anniversary issue in fine silver for $107 each. It included the coin and the center piece (Called a Dump) with a 7000 maximun mintage. It sold out in about 2 weeks. The Aussie's really like their coins.
How many years have they restruck these? I found one a year or two ago at a local coin shop, and was surprised when a different date was offered as a door prize at the Dallas Coin Club.
