What is considered the current "state-of-the-art" holders for storing raw coins? I have some nice gold and silver coins that were collected by my father during the '70s that are still in their original mylar stapled 2 X 2s. A few of the silver coins have dark spots that I was told was attributable to cardboard dust from the holder being captured between the mylar and the coin. I don't want to permanently "slab" the coins, but would like to use the best currently available holders.
I am and have been a fan of kointains museums have used these for near 60 years ! I have most of my raw ms coins in them never had any issues. Paddy
In my opinion, Intercept Shield holders are the best out there...but you pay for it. They are more expensive than most. http://www.tradewindssupplies.com/i...-shield/intercept-shield-2x2-holders/list.htm
