Recently I purchased several pieces of old fractional currency and other paper items. The items were stored in very tight fitting plastic sleeves or envelopes with the only opening at one of the small ends of the sleeve.
Since I'm new to currency collecting I removed and replaced the items several times to examine them or to scan them. I damaged to two of the items. After thgat I cut out another side of the sleeves.

What kind of containers can I buy that will not damage the currency and make it easy to remove and replace the currency.

    Thanks,

    m.

You want to use Mylar-D holders, I believe they do make some that open
up on the top corner for easy removal
