stopped by booth #1701, Dempsey & Baxter, to check out their foreign currency while there I saw the largest collection of quality hobo nickels I've ever seen. I'm going back tomorrow to look at it some more.
It's worthwhile stopping by just to thumb through the hobo nickel album.

Stopped by booth again yesterday, but didn't take any pictures.
Spoke to the owner of the cpons, Mr Dempsey, who is a third generation coin dealer. He told me his Hobo nickel collection is probably worth >$250,00.00.
Some of the nickels are absolutely amazing. He showed me examples
that appeared to be minted the way they looked. The work was truly that of artists.
'The name of his business is Dempsey & Baxter, 6032 PEach Street, Erie, PA 16509.
He also showed me a Potty Dollar which was very cool. It was made from a seated liberty dollar coin. I'll try to buy one at the next show.

If you live near his shop it's worthwhile stopping be to check them out.
