I forgot to mention that I almost bid, until I read the description. The pictures wouldn't load for me. Is anyone else having the same problem? Other auctions seem unaffected.

Pics worked for me - I wouldn't suggest bidding on it though.

HGCS certified. The coin is more than likely a cleaned AU. Yes the pics work for me...yer not missing much.

No need to worry about that. An 1880 o in ms-66 condition would be worth a bundle. I didn't understand why the bid was so low, until I realized it was graded by HCGS. Looks like a slabbing company on ebay.:rolling:

Any bets on whether my report to the Community Coin Watch farce will do any good?[IMG]

Not a great picture of the coin and pics loaded fine. NO NO. HCGS is not PCGS-stay away. $76-suckers all over the ebay coin section. The seller is definitely hiding something besides the coin grading company.

When I first started seeing HCGS I did a search and found what I think is there web site - here. I thought well they have been around since 1993 maybe I can steal a couple of IHC cheap. The first few look close to the grade - but since then I have see nothing but junk. Even though they have been around I think someone should mail them a copy of the ANA grading guide. OR better yet get them to come here to learn how to grade coins. :)
