Hm..SOmething looks off

I know the coin is PCGS, and I like the coloring...but it looks burned..

Burned?? Looks like irredescent toning to me.

 

Probably just the pictures, but it makes me think an real old cleaning toning up.

 

Looks like it was stored in an envelope or an old album to me. What about this one?

 

I suspect that's a bad picture in the auction, and the coin is probably quite nice.

Kanga: I don't see anything wrong/artificial with the toning in your picture. It does look like toning over haziness, though.

 

Nothing is off with the first coin it;s a rainbow toned coin and highly sought after a beauty to me. The second coin is unnatural toning tampered with.
