The remaining three orders I've been waiting for all showed up in one big pile in the mailbox today.
    Two observations:
I really think I like all of the SQ designs this year,at least in comparison to previous years. You may have seen photos of the event depicted on the Utah quarter, the meeting of the east and west branches of the TransContinental railroad at Promentory. Many of you may not realize that the final "golden spike" was driven in by a youth of only 11 years.Would you believe that it was our own moderator Doug as a very young man? It's true,I swear.:smile
Second,I think the Jamestown design actually looks better in UNC than proof. What do you think?

Geez, I thought everyone who knew that had been sworn to secrecy on pain of having to buy 10 lots from the infamous Pamela from Georgia. :p

Very nice! I agree, I like the UNC.a little better on the Jamestown than the proof. The proof is nice, to though.

I agree with Pheonix21 that the uncirculated Jamestown is much better looking than the proof.

I fact, I tend to think most uncirculated coins look better than proofs....
