The first thing that catches your attention is on the observe, the 5 looks like it was drawn in and is lower than the rest of numbers. On the reverse the CC looks drawn in, but on top of it the eagles breast is a reverse of 78, which is not a known die pair for the 1885 CC. Could we get some reports to get this taken down? It looks like the sale was ended with no bidders. If this were real, it would be a bit of a rarity. The 1885-CC dollar is hard to find in the circulated grades. Most all of the pieces offered are Mint State. That’s why there is almost no price break between low end Unc. and EF or AU.
