I just saw a twenty dollar bill with a plate number on the back in the 500's. 572 to be exact. I haven't seen numbers that high in a long time. Are we going back to the old days of four digits again?

I just looked at a small pile of $20’s, and my highest BP Number is 443, and the lowest is 32. The higher number is on a DC printed note and the lower number was on a FW printed note....both are Atlanta District.

Doubt we hit double digit numbers though.

I doubt it. BP starts back at 1 when a new series is introduced.

Yeah, and the Series 2017 $20 went into production in December. So we'll probably see slightly higher plate numbers as the last of the 2013 $20's reach circulation, and then low numbers again for a while.

Series 2013 has had quite a long run, as did Series 2009 before it. By historical standards, there's been very little turnover of Treasury Secretaries and U.S. Treasurers lately.
