I picked up a group of Indian head cents recently and was very happy when I looked this one over after they arrived. This will be my first coin with a cud that I own. I know the rim cuds are pretty small but the coin is very nice too.

I'll check them now. I wish I had a way to get a better and closer picture of that area.

The photo of the third side. I would be cautious of calling them a cud, they very well could be a flattened finned rim. Have you attributed the Coin?

No, I haven't I'm still pretty new at this so I'm still learning a lot. I thought for sure they were rim cuds after spending a lot of time researching on it but I certainly could be wrong. I'll post some more pictures I just took. I don't see anything that jumps out at me under the date. There is a die crack that runs from the Indians feather to the rim (top obverse). There is also another die crack that runs from what I think is the lower rim cud and into the bottom of the Indians neck area. There looks to be a die chip on the 9 as well.
