    HeY, I'm needing to know what the coin designators stand for??? Can any body help....PLEASE

    Perhaps he/she is referring to MS##, PF##, etc.

    Those are actually grades on the Sheldon Scale, which is in general use in the hobby, runing from P0 (Poor, zero - a piece of metal barely recognizable as a coin) through MS70/PF70 (Mint State/Proof 70 - perfect coins minted for circulation or collectors/proof coins minted exclusively for collectors with multiple strikes and other special care).

    I'm sure either a forum search or a Google search on "Sheldon scale coins" will turn up far more information than you really want to know.

    MSBN, MSRB, PRBN, PRRB, PRRD, MSRD. i'VE TRIED LOOKING THEM UP AND BUT GET NO WHERE. i DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT THEY MEAN BY THESE ACORNYMS

    PRRD.....Proof Red

    WELCOME. For one thing stay on this forum and keep asking questions. Next go out looking for what is called the Red Book by Whitman Publishing. Available in lots of places. For example Walmart Web site books section. Real cheap there and that book will get you started on terminology.
