Well, seeing that the average has been in the mid $30's over the past year I will say that we will see the high $20's before silver even gets to $40. $50? I'm not holding my breath.
I would think gold and silver would be down then, with booze and other "accoutrements" up. I know if I am dead tomorrow I don't want the last thing I spend money on to be old silver coins.
Well, my prediction abilities are pretty much crap, but I think I can say with certainty there will be no World Series for the Cubs this year. So, maybe next year silver will be near $50.00, but we'll have to see what happens in Chicago in 2013.
My crystal ball is broken like Treehugger's, but force me to guess and I would guess silver at $50 before the Cubs win the world series. Cost of production goes up every year for all metals, so its a certainty silver one day will be $50. The Cubs on the other hand have absolutely no certainty they will ever win a world series, especially at this rate.
