Hello Cointalk, I have been taking some time off due to school, and only coming in to answer my PM's. High school is going great! You barely have to use your lockers, and you get to carry around your backpack! Which is a plus! All my teachers are really good about my ulcerative colitis, and I was given a pass, that says I can bring in drinks, and go to the bathroom whenever I NEED to Also, it is very laid back! Lunch; you can eat WHEREVER you want! You can just wonder around, you can hang out with somebody else, or another teacher, so many options! I am feeling GREAT! No sign of being sick, and it is about time to go down on prednisone again! Maybe 7.5 one day, then 5 mg another day, for next week Now onto my new coin.... I've been working on this deal for about a month now, and here she is! Opinions? Negative and Positive, I'll take um' all! Hope everyone else is doing alright
Now the pic is a little bit better, so you should be able to see it! And yes, I did learn myself a lots.... I learn literater, and algibra, and also manufacturin' sistems...
Glad you are liking high school... I wish I had one of those passes when I was in school, without the sickness of course Your new coin looks great! A bit hard to tell exactly what it is due to the small picture size(not sure why pics have been so small lately?). But if I am seeing it correctly it looks like you picked up a 1909 $2.50 gold eagle in PCGS MS65? VERY NICE!
My opinion is that is a really, really, really tiny pic. I suggest putting it on photobucket as it seems most folks these days are having thier images shrunk by the new server setup. My general comments for a 1909 MS62 Quarter Eagle is you did really good selling your AU coins for this one.
I so wish! MS62 is the grade Yes I'm glad I sold those AU's for this one! Yep just did the photobucket thingy.... And guys, the picture is bigger now
Ahhh, just look at that booming luster with those copper toned fields. Gotta love those gold Indians.
enjoy highschool while you can, I'm missing it already (I'm a senior now, and school doesn't really matter since I've applied to colleges)
Hey T$ focus on your education and no coin will be out of your reach. It is great to hear you are doing well in school, as we all knew you were doing well with numismatics. Keep up the good work. Very nice coin by the way and terrific pictures.
I love those gold indian coins, as a matter of fact I saw one last night. Of course I didn't have enough to contemplate buying it so I just admired it for a minute. good for you!!! :kewl:
good coin. It looks like a really nice problem free mint state gold Indian. Very best regards, collect89 P.S. Even though the $2.50 will fit into a ring, don't ever crack it out & put it jewelry for some high school girl.
I love the gold Indian design. :thumb: I sadly had to sell my $5 version so I could buy another token. What is going on with star 12? Is that on the coin or plastic?
Nice to hear from you Travis. Glad to hear you like high school and a great new addition to your collection. Gonna be tough to go back to AU coins once you start getting mint state coins.
