I just realized that the 2006 proof set I got a month ago has all 5 2006 state quarters in it. Do they make all the proof quarters(or coins in general) in advance?
Yes,they're all made in the winter/spring and come out in March/April with all 5 quarter designs as well as the other denominations.It's kind of cool to have all 5 when the "civilians" of the world have maybe seen one.
Those sets are nice, but no-where near the value of the full sets. I still have to mine for this years.
