I said something about a clothlike texture on the edge of the Adams dollar, well I found one that just started on ebay. What do you think about it? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...MESE:IT&viewitem=&item=300117202084&rd=1&rd=1
Oh! THAT'S what you were talking about...In one box I was opening, almost 1/3 of the coins were like that...I think i still have them actually.....I hope the mint is changing how they do the edge lettering because the ones with this finish are MUCH easier to read......
I am wondering why some of the folks on here buy huge amounts of the president dollars. Just me but I dont think they are all that fine of a coin. I mean, take the Adams coin, he looks like a mongoloid. Is it to get, by chance, an error coin that would make up the amount you paid?
the comments were all positive and that does look like a genuine error...kinda like touching nail polish before its dry..lol
That doesn't look like much of anything to me. Has anyone found any significant errors or oddities with the new JA President coins?

I think that a lot of people a really going overboard with the Presidential $1 coins.A lot of the so-called 'errors' are pretty pedantic. We haven't yet had any Presidential $1 coins out over here yet,but they wiil come. Aidan.
Wow Twiggs. with so many errors you'd think that a non error coin would bring a premium. LOL. Like I said, I'm not too impressed with them anyway.
was just thinking...I check canadian coin for errors but I never see any...your mint needs improvement lmao
You're right Twiggs. I never saw a duck so well crafted as are on your ''25 cent'' coins. Just kidding. I really do like Canadian coins.
Of all the errors Twiggs listed, the only one I would consider to be significant would be the doubled edge letters
