Urban... This is one of the most famous denomination error notes in US Paper Money History! This I would pay 25K for but not the 10/1 ...FYI it last sold for 22.5K That is a very cool small size error Urban...but 65K...ughhhhh I think it is really inflated. A matter of opinion I would say but still a great error find! RickieB
Noost...that was exactly the first word from my lips as well!! WOW indeed. That Small Size Note if real is very rare! Just as the note I have shown an example of. RickieB
WOW! great minds think alike... i too had the first thought of wow lol both dual-demon notes here are great, but i too like the $20 FRn better then the 10/1. but, in all honesty... both would be an awsome addition to my collection
i agree the $20 FRN is a much better note. i didnt even know that note existed. i had seen bills where the reverse side was inverted but never mismatched denominations.
same here. i had never heard of a dual-denom note. i can see how it might happen, but what a series of events it must be to have it happen. and hence.. the high price!
Can you imagine finding a note like that in your change. WOW! May be that's why they say to always check both sides of a note. The book that I have refers to these notes as "Mismatched Denominations" and says they are often called the "KING" of paper money errors. The prices listed for VG 6000.00, VF 8500.00, UNC 15,000.00. The prices listed in the book 9 years old. Lou
