Well I guess today wasn't all that bad . Even though 1 of the 2 coins I had purchased wasn't what I expected. This one seems to make up for it. So what do u guys think ? I know the photos aren't that great but if you would give me an idea on grade I would really appeticate it. It does have full bands not sure if you can tell from the photos.
She's put together fine but she's going to need help to compete with the girls at MS67. Oh, she makes it. MS67FB (trusting you on the bands).
I'm quite certain its full bands. Nice! Found a 43' in a coinstar a few weeks ago, but not quite as nice as this one though...
When I opened the package and saw this coin I was amazed . The photos the seller had didn't do the coin justice ,not that mine do. I took this coin and compared it to several NGC and ANAcS MS66 mercury's that I have and in my opinion it's superior all around. There's something about this coin that I didn't mention as I didn't want it to affect everyone's judgement. This coin is already slabbed graded MS65FB by PCI. This could be the only under graded pci coin known. Lol
A year or so ago I was reading online about how coinstars will sometimes kick out the old silver . So every since then everyone I come across I check that tray. I haven't found any silver but I've sure got plenty of funny look . Lol
I was lucky enough to walk into the citymarket here in town when the guy who services the coinstar was there, and he told me most of the machines will kick out the silver. It sorts by weight, and any coins that are too heavy or too light get kicked back. and they won't take ikes.. so over to the branch back they go, and into my stash. (one of my friends is a teller there)
PCI tried , and this coin is probably undergraded by them . They just weren't consistent and tented to be ti generous with the grade . Still you can find nice coins cheap in their slabs .
When a lot of people tend to buy the slabs and not pay too much attention to the coins in them, it opens the door for some great deals if you are good at grading etc.
