Here is an odd one....

CRHing a roll of nickels this morning and this showed up. How did this get into circulation? It is minted in my old home town, and wound up in a nickel roll in my new home's bank some 72 miles away. As a retired Fire Fighter who did a lot of commercial fire inspections in my old home town, I never came across any building that would
create anything like this in the thirty years in my career.

Thanks form the responses. I'll give them a call. I am going back to see my son over Christmas and I'll see if they are open.

 

Maybe there business office is located there and the mint is somewhere else.
