Here is a interesting twist.

cwebb00001 Rare One of a Kind.

The reverse initails FG are a bit twisted/angled forward here. The G seems to have the most angled degree of turn and the F just appears to have a portion of the letter curved upwards. The coin is a 1968 D Lincoln Memorial Cent. This is another exciting addition to my collection of errors and unique Lincoln Memorial Pennies. I think its a rather uncommon fluke to even see something like this. I really get surprised to find such odd things on a penny.

Don't pay much attention to these designers initals. It is normal for them to be placed in many different directions. Some of them were placed on the coin dies by hand so there is no certain position they have to be in. look for the easier to see things and you will enjoy looking for errors more. good luck and I hope you find some awesome error coins.

The designer's initials were not on the hubs or master dies? Were they an afterthought?
