I recieved this in the mail today. I was very disapointed in the way this guy returned this coin. It was in a regular letter envelope, with a stamp, scotch taped to a piece of paper. The envelope formed to the coin and was clearly obvious that a half dollar was in the envelope. DSC01846.jpg

Here is the kicker. I didnt sell this coin. He must have mailed it to the wrong address. I did sell him something else though. I think I will block him from further orders as I can not trust his handling of returns.

Well, If he returned the coin to the wrong address, do you have a moral responsibilty to find out where it should have gone? I would have to contact him and bring up both concerns.

I wouldn't be so fast to block him. He may well be returning it exactly the way it was sent to him.

I've received coins taped to paper before, and if I had been buying them for numismatic value rather than silver content, I certainly would've asked to return them for a refund. I'd return them the same way they were sent.

Were you expecting a return from him?

According to eBay the sellers name was peanutsauce 2001. Sold on Feb 18th of this year. I would just send it back to him marked: sent to wrong address. Let him straighten it out.

I emailed the buyer, and told him, I would forward it, if he wants.
