This is the "History of the Polish Cavalry" series. The coins are from 2006, 2007, 2009, 2010 and 2011. Don't know why they skipped 2008, but I think they did because I haven't been able to find reference to one. I also put the group photos in the "Show your coins from Poland" thread.

The coins are 2 Zl (zloty) and made of an alloy they call "Nordic gold". Common obverse (or is that the reverse?). The other side depicts Polish Cavalry troopers throughout the years. Rim/edge lettering is a simple set of initials alternating direction.

I like these coins in this series and I have the ones you showed as well. I'm discouraged by the sheer number of these 2 zlote coins though. I could never complete a set. I don't know how many they make in a year but I'm always seeing new ones, and some are quite a stretch for topics. I have one that is the 15th anniversary of the Polish Senate, for example.
