Just picked up several very pretty toned Indian cent proofs with photos by Todd, of course, so I thought I'd show them off here. One even has a small cute little strike thru on the cheek (a thread from a cleaning cloth) - sort of reminds me of face art!

Wow that third one, the 1879 with the reddish color is amazing. The same for the blue toned one. I can see why the toned coins have such a following. Very nice coins Charmy.

I really like the 1897. The toning on the cameo devices really stood out for me.

The 79 was one tough bird to image.

Wow, another batch of beautiful cents there PL. I think my fav is the 1888, the contrast between the devices and fields and how they are balanced obv to rev really struck me. Congrats..

Not sure what you mean? I bought them from some other dealers.

  19. Wow, those IHCs are awesome. I especially like the 1888 and 1870. Thanks for posting coins that I would never get a chance to see otherwise. TC

Yep - she just bought them. Proof IHC's are easily available, but really nice ones like this are tougher to find. Of course all of this is just my opinion. It seems like most that I have seen are lifeless and not as lusterous as these or the business strikes.
