As you all know, I love toned copper, especially key dates (key dates in this case referring to lower mintage). So I thought I'd dust mine off and bring them out of the closet for some show and tell. Here are mine, now let's see some of your Lincoln key/semi-key dates! (p.s., I'm looking for a pretty toned 1955/55 if anyone comes across one!)

Here is the best I can do. Bear in mind that I am not a professional photographer (but I did a lot better than Heritage).

Nice. So when are you breaking them all out of those slabs? :D
I seldom take photos of coins though.

I've got most of the keys BUT not nearly as good as Charmy's.

My 1909-S VDB is PCGS AU-55.
My 1909-S is NGC AU-58 BN.
    My 1914-D is PCGS XF-40.
My 1922 Plain is PCGS VF-25/Strong Reverse
My 1924-D is raw (probably AU-something).
My 1931-S is raw (probably AU-something).
My 1955 DDO is ANACS AU-55.
    I don't have a 1972 DDO.
And my car is nowhere close to Lincoln quality.

Well my keys aren't as high grade...but I've got a complete set here somewhere!

    1909-S VDB - VF
    1909-S RAW
    1914-D - F
    1931-S - MS64RB (IIRC...I'm quite sure it is 64)

Most of the coins in my set were picked out from bags and rolls from dealer after dealer - thanks to my local dealer who would buy large bags of wheat cents and let me bring them home, go through them, pull out what I needed, and then bring the rest back to him. I would either trade coin for coin, or pay him $0.05/per coin I pulled out!
I got a few VDB's that way, and alot more that I can't remember - I really need to upgrade my 09-S and I wouldn't mind getting a better 14-D but I doubt that is going to happen anytime soon!

My 14 D was bought before there were such things as slabs. probably 30 years ago, it would probably around 45 My S VDB was broken out of an ANACS EF 45 slab, it matches the rest of my wheats, my memorials are all red uncs,
