I have always wanted an ancient coin so I bought this at the last coin show I attended. I don't know anything about them so I looked up Heraclius and found out a little about him now I have questions about the coin. Is there a denomination for this coin? Is it a medal turn or a flip rev? Is there a site that shows a better example of this coin?

No matter what I find out, I sure like this one, hope you do too.

I really can't tell much from your pictures. Try backing the camera up a bit, giving it a bit more light.

From what I can see, i'd say its probably either Justin II or Heraclius, and either a follis or half follis.
