I need help with this ancient. I bought it a couple of years ago and was told it was Greek. Any ideas? Thanks in advance, Coinmaster1. :smile
Its a bit hard to tell but I think its Theodosius (Late Roman) but the rev is upside down. Maybe similar to this one. Theodosius II AE3, 401-403 AD. D N THEODOSIVS P F AVG, helmeted & cuirassed facing bust, with spear over shoulder & shield ornamented with cross / CONCORDI-A AVGG, Constantinopolis seated facing, holding Victory heres some photos http://wildwinds.com/coins/ric/theodosius_II/t.html
