A lady at church brought a stack of about 50 of these bills, all the same. She said that her father was in Japan during WWII and thought that maybe he brought them back from there. Do any of you have any information on these? Thanks
Yes, they appear to be 10 Sen notes from Japan during the W.W. II era. (Circa 1944). During that time, the Japanese monetary system was based on 1 Yen, which was subdivided into 100 Sen. The Sen is currently obsolete due to inflation, but as an analogy the notes you possess would be "dimes" to the Japanese "dollar." Hope this helped.
