Help With This 2023 Jefferson Nickel

    20230522_191253.jpg 20230522_191302.jpg Thanks in advance. Going through some uncirculated rolls and notice this Nickel. Wondering what causes this? Is it just a weak strike? 2nd Nickel is just for comparison

    I think it's more of a case of worn die, the coin in question has more die wear striation lines/mark on the surface of the coin.
    Weak strike can be caused by thin/under-weight planchet.
