Help with Termessus Major Coin

    I just bought a small lot from Termessus Major in Pisidia and could identify all the coins except for this one. Was hoping someone could help me with the identification. It's interesting that the smaller reverse design doesn't seem to fit with the large 29mm coin. Here it is:
    Termessos 1.jpg I really like these types; large coins with interesting designs. They used to be tough to find but there was a large hoard found not too long ago which makes them far more available.

    Feel free to post them if you have them.

    i don't know brian, i didn't see anything with a quick look. what the heck are we looking at on the reverse, can you tell? zeus on the obverse...but...is it a serapis head on a pillar????

    The reverse looks to me to be double struck, giving the design that odd compressed look and the illusion of it being too small for the flan. You can see the beading doesn't form a circle but an ellipsoid.
