I don't usually buy Israeli coins but these were in uncirculated or better so I went for it. But I'm trying to ID them now. For the upper left I just need the year. For the upper right I need the year as well. For the lower left the problem is it is labeled as proof and really looks proof in hand, but my Krause doesn't show a proof version of this coin. For the lower right, the holder I bought it in has the date as 1964 but Krause says there were only 10 trial pieces struck for this date and it seems really unlikely I have one of those. Can someone help me figure all this out?
That proof is also a piedfort and those are listed after all of the other listings for the country in Krause. edit; looks like it is KM P5 edit 2; That 1964 sure had me going for a bit there, but it might be 1967.
I see what you mean. The writing for 1964 and 67 look almost identical according to Krause. It looks like the half lira is 1970. The 10 sheqalim looks like 84 to me. What's a piedfort? I'm not familiar with that term.
Top left is 1970, top right is 1984, bottom left is a piedfort (double thickness) proof, and bottom right is 1967.
