For the most part i use the Red Book for what information it has pertaining to the modern commemoratives program. Since it lists individual coins and sets in diferent locations, its hard to remember to look in both places and i always forget the sets list altogether... My questions is if anybody knows of a list on the net thats lists all coins and sets in one place in one list? I know GlacierMI provided a huge list (which i have lost the link to) in one of the threads, but i dont remember if it listed all the sets or if it just listed the individual coins....
The Mint has a page listing all of them, but it's just a list of individual coins and only goes to 2003,no other info before '97. http://www.usmint.gov/mint_programs/commemoratives/index.cfm?flash=yes&action=modern Here's another one that goes to 2005 and is separated by denomination. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Modern_United_States_commemorative_coins
Thanks for those links Mikjo0. I have been to the Mint page before, but must have forgotten about it. I decided last night i was going to crate my own list combining the 2 different lists in the Red Book. I will check that against the 2 pages you provided to see if anything is missing. I have well over 200 entries so far and not done ... between individual coins and then all them sets.... getting a full spread is going to be costly (even if i stay away from the gold) -- But very fun :goofer: Another thing i want to do is find a source that provides the actual figures for quantities sold, just to find any sleepers that i might be able to get lucky with I have been using the Numismatic News mag for the last several months, but liek with the Franklins the figures they provide are usually different then other sources, not sure whao to believe.
