Help with identifying half penny hammered coin

    Nice find i would guess its possibly silver and looks English also medieval times era.

    Looks like maybe Edward III, mid 14th century

    cross penny? English medieval or slightly later would be my guess too.

    There is a number of variants all issued 1279-1307. Hope this will help you narrow it down,

    As @scottishmoney stated it could be that of henry, but that period of 1279 through 1509 have a similar look and it will come down to weight, diameter and readable legends to positively id

    I see a hint of the lettre H in medieval script on the upper right of the coin above the monarch. That and the appearance of the monarch on the coin suggest a later date ie Henry VI - Henry VII so late 15th century.
