I found these two interesting items in a box of coins. Can any one help me identify what they are and any value? One of them has Windsor Castle on it and the other one has Prince of Wales on it. CC
I think they are medals, not coins; and i'm guessing british origin. Sorry i can't say more as is not my main area.
I believe these are kind of like souvenir pieces. Am I correct in assuming the large pieces are the front and back of a box or holder and the smaller pieces store inside it? They appear to be medalettes of the children of the royal families. One being the children of the rulers family (Victoria?), and the other being children of the heir apparent family that of the Prince of Wales (Edward VI?) It is hard to tell because even after blowing up the images I can't read all the inscriptions.
