Hi everyone. I was hoping someone could help me ID this coin. I collect mainly US coinage, but decided to try something new and clean some old crusty ancients. Bought a lot on the bay.....i know probably searched and whatever, but for a first go I figured why not, see what happenes. Most of what i got have little to no detail, some i cleaned TOO much...live and learn. One coin that stuck out at me though was this one. It has really sharp details, but most of the coin, expecially the reverse is heavily coroded. I really like the design details that I can see and was hoping to find another coin that i can see all/most of the details. Any/all help os greatly appreciated! Thanks again! Great, thanks so much for your help! What can i expect to pay for a nice one? Any idea? Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
prices vary according to several things...how nice, city (some cities are more common), field marks, not all engravers from the same mint are equally skilled...etc. etc. here is a link to Vcoins with many examples for sale- https://www.vcoins.com/en/Search.as...cords=100&SearchOnSale=False&Unassigned=False
A lot of people have been having trouble posting pictures here using Tapatalk. If you don't mind, could you tell us what you did differently the second time around to make the pictures show up?
Well im doing this all mobile, so first time was using the little picture icon, the second time i used the attachment (paperclip) icon. Pics showed up both times for me but i am happy atleast one set came through. Thanks again for your help! Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
