Think this Bust-Half (O-119, R-3) had a cleaning sometime in the past, however the seller said it came from a roll found in a Kansas City Bank back in the 1980s. I never heard of any such roll, but who know what's in a families safety deposit box. I figure it's a solid AU-53/55. What do you guys think?

    Thanks for looking :)

Nice piece, I give you credit, I have a hard time Overton'ing the late dates.
(I'll bet you never saw that as a verb before.)
    Still, AU-55.

LOL, no I haven't. But I'll say this for sure, I had to go get a new glasses prescription. Working with a loupe and magnifying glass made me realize my eyes were getting in need of an upgrade, LOL... :D

    Ben,
I'd call that a lock 55. The cleaning is very light, and is more than acceptable by market standards in my opinion. What a nice example!

Not sure why I initially put the cleaning is "very mine" probably has something to do with being up since 4 am and missing a 6 am flight : (

    Big Z,

Thanks for the look-see, I'm floored... You've got good eyes, not just in this case either. Individuals like you will be the key to TPGs getting out of the 'Trust Funk' they're currently in. Keep up the good work...

    Take care

I'm sorry but even before Mike posted I was looking and I don't see it any better than XF.

I'd like to add that I was initially thinking a 45, as the feathers and some of the hair detail is flat. However the coin is highly lustrous, and except for the central part of the coin, the details are very crisp and show little wear. I've been wrong in the past, so it may well be a 45.
