I picked this beat up dime up for 2 bucks. It was incorrectly listed as 1912 on the 2x2. But what date is it? I’d like to label it properly if possible. I tried looking at some photos, but being unfamiliar with this series I cannot say for sure. Maybe 1893, maybe 1903, maybe other? Let me know what you think it could be. The last one taken through a loupe shows the date the best I could get. Thanks!

I can guarantee you 100% that it is 1903. :)
Could you take another photo like the last one with you loop of the mintmark area?

I also say 1903.. but does it really matter?

$2.00 is a decent price. Silver spot is up a bit.

Thanks! I can do so later when I get home. But I did examine it and my opinion was that it had no mm.

It only matters because I was interested in knowing what the actual date was, if it was even confidently discernible.

Not at the moment, but if I were to opt to do so I’d like to know this is a known-date hole filler.

Definitely a 1903 with no mint mark. $2.00 is the normal rate.

    I agree that it is a 1903.

I think I'm loving the looks of the 1914 on the top row and the 1916 on the bottom row. AU coins, yum! ;)
