I recently acquired an ancient coin. The seller said it was an ancient Roman coin. But I believe it to be older perhaps Celtic (Gaul?). I only have one other Celtic coin, but the abstract deer of horse on the reverse, makes me think that this may be my second one. Here is a picture of the coin. Please let me know what you think.

I am almost certain it is NOT a stater of any sort - that would usually imply gold content, which the fabric and preservation of this coin rule out. Can you take a picture of the coin from a less oblique angle? It would really help us to make out the design better.
