This is probably the last coin I can get for a long tie since my cars dead.:( so I made it a good one:high5: kinda.

I'm tryen to get a better pic right now but, couldnt find this one anywhere. One thing that made me want to get it is the globe, Ardatirion had posted one with a globe with the land on it.

obv inscr. M AVREL ANTONINUS AVG ARMENIACVS

rev inscr. TR POT XX IMP III COS III
    Providence Standing left.

found an As, Denarius, and Sestertius that were similar.

Randy, get a weight on your coin if you can. From the pics, it looks very thick... like a sestertius. Are you sure it's not a small sestertius? I can't get Wildwinds to come up for me at the moment to do some looking.

    Same hither one wildwinds:(

Yes, Randy, it could be either a Sestertius or an As. Details are important.

    Drusus Pecunia non olet

It is not a sestersius or an as, the emperor is wearing a radiate crown. On an As the ruler is bare headed and on a Sestersius a wreath.

They had a Radiate Crown on a Double Sestersius but that came about under Trajan Decius.

"A malicious attack was made on the wildwinds website database yesterday (Friday) evening (US time) during which hundreds of lines of html coding were deleted and the altered files re-uploaded. The server technicians blocked the access at 9 pm California time."

theres a few things you can do for now to still access the pages that are gone.

change the i.html to t.html to veiw the thumbnail, this doesnt work on all though

also archive.org has it archived and you can use googles cached feature

This attribution is correct. The PM is there on your coin, just worn out; in case you were wondering. Struck December 165 to mid-Summer 166 AD.

Stainless - you should've busted out your RIC and gone to the year that M. Aurelius had TR POT XX and IMP III, 165-166 AD.
