Picked these British Coins up yesterday, any ideas on value?

The Half-Penny is from 1882, the Penny from 1947.

    Thanks.

The half penny is distressingly common.

The penny appears to be the 1882-H flat shield which is a little tougher in higher grades. Unfortunately this one isn't high enough grade to attract a lot of attention. It would be an upgrade for a lot of collectors though so might be worth five or ten dollars if the reverse is as nice.

The 1882H ½d has a mintage of 4,480,000. Value in F is about £4 ($6).

The 1947 1d has a mintage of 2,220,000. Value in F or VF is less than £1 ($1.50).
