    Hi
I'm New To This Board And Really Need Help With This Coin From What I'm Reading It Looks Like It Might Be A Multi Strike. The 1st Picture Is Of The Front Of The Dime, The 2nd Picture Is The Back Of The Dime, The 3rd Picture Is A Close-up Of The Date And Mint Mark Which Looks Like It Is Misplaced Over The 7 In 1975 Also The Initials JS Look Doubled, The 4Th Picture Is A Close-Up Of In God We Trust Which Looks Doubled And Miss Stamped, The 5Th Picture Is A Close-Up Of The Head Which Looks Like There Are Letters Across, On The Back Of The ONE Of One Dime It Looks Like Letters There Also. Any Help Would Really Be Appreciated If This Is A Real Multi Strike Dime Any Idea Of The Value.Thank You For Your Time And God Bless.

Looks like it got blown up as in with explosives. Really strange, never seen anything like it.

I'm thinking, and am 99% sure, that it is plain old damage....it looks like wire cutters did part of it and some of it was hit had with something....and maybe some hot copper was put on it--

Severe damage that occurred after the strike. It's not a minting error.

My guess would be hot copper was poured out of it. Looks like it might have been in a fire, or at the least seen extreme heat. I thought the notch was a cut at first too, until I noticed the edges were too rounded and somewhat "fallen".

Curious damage to say the least ;)

    edit:

Strike that, I looks like the dime was welded to something else, and the welding snapped. Odd use for a dime, but I have seen an entire sofa-like piece of furniture made of a shell of nickels welded together.
