Help with 1974 error Quarter (Double Mint?)

    I think this may be a double minted quarter...similar to the 1970 Quarter that was listed on ebay (article here : http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...ntaining-faint-trace-year-1941-goes-sale.html )

    It has obvious, raised markings other than the original mint....moreso on the front, but also on the back.
    But, I cannot figure out what the other (incorrect) mint is?

    Any help and input would be greatly appreciated.

    I appreciate it.
    My pictures aren't very good. But, I can see almost like tree/branches patterns on the front and a square in between the "LL's" in "DOLLARS" on the back.
    Again, I appreciate any/all input.

    I concur. The patterns you're seeing are almost certainly a result of the corrosion.
