I have an 1899 Canadian dime that I want to sell, but I see that there is a small date and a large date variety. Can anyone help me with which kind this one is, and an approximate value? I don't know anything about Canadian coins and got this along with some foreign coins I picked up. Thanks.
There are apparently two major varieties for 1899 dimes. There is a small 9's and a large 9's variety. In VG the small 9s catalogs for $8.50. In VG the large 9's catalogs for $16. Those are catalog values and I don't know if your coin is the is the large or small 9's variety.
