Help to id these coins

    Received these today from sister in law in a large selection of world coins. Are they Russian rubles?

    You are correct @expat; both of your coins are from Russia. The 2 Ruble coin commemorates the 55th anniversary of the end of the Great Patriotic War (World War II) with a scene from the Battle of Leningrad (Saint Petersburg).

    Thank you very much for the prompt reply, I can catalogue them now. They are the first Russian coins in my collection

    The WW2 commemorative is neat. Hadn't seen that one before.
