Help to buy "Indian coins" from collector in India

    Hi,
    I am a International student in US, I am planning to go to India for a short vacation. Can any one please tell me where I can buy Indian coins, (both b4 Independence and post) in the city of Chennai.

    When looking for current coinage while traveling, I usually get it at my hotel, or at any bank. [​IMG]

    Otherwise, I ask the hotel concierage whether there is a coin store in town, and if so, for directions on how to get to it.[​IMG]

    Hi Coincollector,
    Well if your seeking common coins I would recommend Deak currency exchange. They have what is called travel packets.
