Hello, My Granddad just gave me some old german coins from WW2, but they have some corrosion on them. I would like to know if there is any way to stop ithe corrosion and also what would be the best way to store them. I do not collect coins but would like to keep these in good shap. Thanks for any help.

A lot of those coins were zinc, a metal which corrodes very easily. There isn't much you can do to eliminate the corrosion already there, but a bath in pure acetone (not nail polish remover which has additives), followed by encapsulation in an Air-Tite, can do a lot to prevent additional damage.
