Full Bar? Is it open bar? I'll take a drink.
Sorry, had to say it. You mean "full torch". Not bands.
I don't see it here. Not close. :p

I’ve never heard of the term “full bar” applied to a Roosevelt dime ( or any other dime for that matter ). Please explain.

From your pics all I see is a circulation damaged 1981-P Roosevelt dime that, honestly, is just a spender. I see nothing that would explain where a “full bar” anything would be located on that thing.

…and if your ChatGPT gizmo is calling “Full Torch” dimes as “Full Bar”, then it needs to return to the blackboard and start over because it is spewing erroneous information. I agree with @SensibleSal66 , not even close to FT.

The term for dimes is "Full Torch". If you want to know what that means, search a reputable numismatic site and several articles will show up.

Please don't use ChatGPOTPETISIED for any scientific information about any hard data relating to any science in the known or unknown worlds.

Your coin is worth a dime. Spend it.

Uh…respectfully, no. It might spend for ten cents but it is not worth ten cents.

You are being pedantic. In Modern American, spending for 10 cents is worth 10 cents. That is the reality of fiat currency.

Everyone agrees it does not have 10 cents of hard money. Everyone agrees it will buy 10 cents worth of merchandise (whatever that is, these days).

Perhaps, but you would have to pay me to take that dime.

If you PM me, I will happily take every piece of your fake and worthless fiat currency. I'll even pay shipping for every paper dollar you own. Cause I'm a nice guy like that, and I don't want you to have to bear the burden of carrying this trash.

No, thanks. I have my own methods of disposal of coins worth less than their face value.

ChatGPT is completely worthless for coins. Stop using it. Do your own research. I just searched it for "1948 Canada dollar", and in addition to a bunch of utter nonsense, it told me there are varieties, so I asked about varieties too and got even more nonsense. It says the reverse is a caribou, the mintage was 8.8 million, value of high-quality examples exceed 50-100 CAD (try 100 times that), that it was the last year of George VI's reign, that there's a "pointed 8" variety (an 8 can be pointed?), a "flat 8" variety, and get this, an RPM! There is no mint mark on this coin, but ChatGPT tells me the mint mark is C for Canada. Among many other ridiculous things.

I can't even guess where it comes up with this garbage. I think we should have a ChatGPT joke thread on here and see what others come up with.

I’ve been collecting for 66 years and “full bar” is a new term. On Roosevelt Dimes the term is “full torch” and this dime isn’t even close. Way to much wear. It’s only worth face value.

We need to find that thread where the AI robot identified an electrical slug as an ultra rare coin of some sort or another and pin it so everyone can see the folly in AI coin identification.
