This is on a 2007 P Wyoming state quarter. It's right behind the horse's tail. It's almost like repeated imprints of the tail, but not exactly the same shape. Just very odd. Anyone know what type of error this is called? Thanks!
Thanks. I tried for a some better pics. My scope blows and doesn't really show what I see through my loupe. It could be post mint damage, but I was sure hoping not. You can see more of how it goes down along the tail in the new pics. This coin also has many die breaks/chips so I thought this might be another type of error as well.
Thank you....lol. I have one with an almost perfect Hitler 'stache. And a (Kansas) buffalo with a big break/chip...whatever...between its eyes. Near perfect circle. Looks like a third eye, but bigger.
I thought it was sort of funny. I mean...what are the odds of it being so perfectly placed...and shaped. I saw one on eBay with a glob that resembled a goatee (sort of) that was priced at something like 269.00. Not sure if they got that or not. Doubt it.
probably not, I would have watched, just to see if it did or nor, then that would give you a good estimate as to what they are selling for. Beside all that, I really like it, im a WWII nut, so anything having to do with the big H is awesome!
I wish I had. It was before I found mine, so I really had no reason to then. I've been tempted to list it, but still don't know if I really want to let it go. It's one of those you just can't replace.
I wouldn't list it, keep it for your kids in a safe place, and when they have it will be an awesome gift.
