I'm looking at this batch for right around $100. I see right around $85 worth of silver American coins (two Peace dollars, a half, a quarter, two dimes). My question: how much foreign silver, or other potentially worthwhile pieces, can be identified from these crummy photos? Enough to cover the $15 gap? Thanks for any advice...
None of the foreign coins jump out to me as defiantly silver, the french frank on the left and the 1/2 crown on the right are the only 2 that may be depending on the dates, but from the color they show as i doubt it. Overall they all look like common coins. There is a large silver one near the center that I cannot ID.
Thanks for the tips. I'm still undecided -- I don't like to buy common US silver above melt, but I love surprises, and I'm still tempted by this lot just in case it holds a couple.
The only foreign silver I see is the Canadian 5c. The Italian 5 Lire x2 and the Algerian 50 Franc are worth $1-$2 each. The rest looks like 10c junk box stuff.
