I've searched the forum and cannot find out much info about this coin. So I'm asking for your help and opinions on the 1979-S " clear S" that I own. I bought it from a dealer/seller who I still consider a reputable dearler/seller on ebay. I also purchased the 1981-S clear Kennedy half and the 'S' is perfectly clear. In my 1979-S the 's' it not so perfectly clear. I've lately looked/searched for 1979-S that are stated to be clear but they don't show the 'S' in a separate photo. I did find a photo of one where when expanded the 'S' WAS clear. But that's one in twenty. Do consider my coin as having a clear 'S'? Many coins listed as clear were like mine so, even an MS69 pcgs one. Help and thanks alot.
Yes and thanks. The 79-S type II sure looks like mine. My Ike collection a little bit fuller now. I do not have any 40%ers but I'm keeping an open mind.
